I wanted to update you on the status of our business and what you can expect moving forward. We're closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. As a small family-owned business, we are extremely agile and can adapt in a moment's notice. We're committed to carefully analyzing the most current data from trusted sources and official public health guidance. Regardless of the circumstances, our #1 priority is the health and safety of your family (dogs included!) and our team. We continue to utilize the most stringent of sanitizing protocols in our facility and have proactively doubled our scheduled sanitization and cleaning as an added precaution.
As I write this update, we're still open and shipping nationwide from our Midwest warehouse; however, I want to be honest and give you realistic expectations. We don't know what the future holds. While unlikely, it is possible that we'll be forced to close our warehouse in the coming weeks if state or local governments mandate it or to ensure the safety of our team. Additionally, there is also always a risk that the postal carriers shut down operations. If any of the above occurs, we'll have no choice but to turn off our website temporarily.
For this reason, I encourage you to place any orders you were planning NOW. I don't want this email to cause any sort of panic, but I do want you to be properly prepared if we have to shut our doors and you aren't able to get your normal dog supplies. We will do our very best to remain open and servicing our customers as long as we can do it safely for all parties involved.
Q: Are you still open?
A: Yes, as of right now, it's full steam ahead! We're reliant on our local, state, and federal law though. At any point, we could get shut down without any notice. For that reason, please get any important orders placed now because we really don't know what the future holds.
Q: Are shipments delayed?
A: Yes. We're running 1-2 days behind schedule so please temper expectations. Our team is working around the clock to get orders out the door as fast as possible. We're working overtime and weekend shifts to try and keep up. Our team understands how important it is that your dogs have their necessary supplies and is doing everything they can.
Q: Do you sell anything made in China?
A: No. We don't sell any consumable products from China. Our products are sourced from the safest and most trusted suppliers in the US, South America, Canada, New Zealand, etc. The country of origin can be found on every product page.
