February's Pet of the Month
Get ready to fall head over paws for Boulder, our February Pet of the Month!
This four-year-old Border Collie was named after a character in Look to the North by Jean Craighead George, a fitting choice for a pup who’s equal parts rugged adventurer and loyal companion. When he’s not lounging in a cool mountain creek, you’ll find Boulder hiking alongside his brother, Tundra, soaking up every outdoor moment.
Boulder’s favorite pastimes are lounging in a cool creek or hiking with his brother Tundra. When it’s time to turn up the energy, he’s all tail wags and ready to play, as long as his light-up “Disco Ball” is involved! Even though this boy is all about adventures, his favorite activities are often the simplest, like sitting with his fur-mom and watching the Northern Lights shimmer overhead.
Boulder was born with Raines Disease (Dental Hypomineralization), a condition that causes his teeth to be very soft and wear down quickly. While his teeth may look older than his four years, his spirit is anything but! Because hard chews aren’t an option, finding the right treats is key.
