Summer may be coming to an end, but it’s just getting started for August’s Pet of the Month! It’s time to give a woof to this month’s winner, Trudy!
Trudy’s furever family fell in love with and adopted her in 2023 from the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. True to her roots, this Husky mix loves nothing more than frolicking in a winter wonderland and spent her first years of life enjoying the snowy winters with her family in Pennsylvania!
A few months ago, Trudy’s pack made a big move down south to Florida. While the warm weather and bright summer sun may have been a new experience for Miss Trudy, she has definitely embraced her new life with open paws! Trudy has now become a certified beach pup and has spent the whole summer enjoying as much of the ocean as she can get!
Every morning, Trudy starts the day off right by going on a treat hunt. Her mom hides a Daily Dental Chew Brush for her, and Trudy uses her nose to track down her yummy prize! When she’s not searching for treats, you can find this pup out on long walks or chasing a ball. She even does agility training and is a pro at maneuvering through a course at lightning speed!
After a long day of play and adventure, Trudy’s pack likes to reward her with a tasty treat. Trudy’s never met a treat she didn’t like, so they alternate with Bully Rings, Collagen Sticks, and Beef Jerky to show her how much she is loved!
Here’s to sweet Trudy, the sweet pup who spreads her joy wherever she goes!
