- First, human consumption is not recommended (duh!).
- Second, we always recommend supervision while feeding your pet any treat or chew.
- Third, remove any large, swallowable pieces to prevent blockages.
- Fourth, provide plenty of drinking water to help with digestion. Hard chews could damage a dog’s teeth. If your pet isn't used to this treat, feed in limited quantity. The braided collagen chews are the only chews I buy for my corgi, June! She is almost 2 years old and has a super sensitive stomach. We have tried bully sticks (can't handle the smell and have to be care on how long she has it), yak chews, other non rawhide chews and these are the best I have found. No odor, she loves the taste, easy on the stomach and I'm lucky that she leaves it when there's only a couple inches left. I keep repurchasing from Amazon but they only have the 3 pack of the large braids so I love ordering directly from Pawstruck. It's a better deal for more (we go through a 3 pack in about a month). HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend, these can be pricey but 100% worth it!!

I gave these to my the dogs (Chihuahua, dachsund, and a minpin/Jack Russell mix) and made a note of the time to see how long it would be before they either lost interest or finished a braid. They were intently focused for hours, and looked for them to continue on every time they came back inside after playing in the yard. They absolutely love them. The Chihuahua and the dachsund are intense chewers and still young, so these are helping us have something they are SUPPOSED to chew on instead of all the things they've chewed up that they shouldn't have. I've since ordered more to keep these happy pups welll supplied.

I wanted to give my new family member, Kindred a 110 pound 2 year old Border Collie mix a special treat to entertain him as being unsure how he'd do while I'm sleeping. He loved the beef collagen braids in the beginning but, I'm surprised that he hasn't had the desire for another braid. Hopefully Pawstuck can suggest another chew he may enjoy.
