You wanna know what makes our cow hooves better than the rest? We make 'em right here in the USA, hand trimming and thoroughly cleaning them before slowly cooking them in the oven to lock in that tasty, all-natural flavor. The result is a hardy, healthy, natural chew toy for dogs that last even longer than our super-tough bully sticks, making cow hooves a great option for pet dogs who really love to gnaw. Your pup will have a blast gnawing on these hooves and will be blissfully unaware of all the health benefits that come with them, including healthier gums and teeth and reduced stress. Who knew that chewing could be such a good thing?

If you think about it, it's a bit funny that dogs love to chew on our dog chew treats so much. After all, what's so delicious about a cow's hoof, anyway?

We're still scratching our heads, too, but all we know is this: cow hooves are super tasty dog chewing toys of any shape or size. We've never eaten one ourselves (and we don't recommend you do, either), but judging by the happiness of pet dogs and puppies everywhere, we can wager they're pretty darn good, making this a universal favorite for pups of any breed.

You may be wondering, what are cow hooves made of? When we say these beef cow hooves are all natural, we mean itjust check the ingredients list and you'll see that the only thing in these cow hooves is cow hooves. Our dog chew toy products are 100 percent naturally derived and free of any sort of hormones, additives, harsh chemicals, space aliens and preservatives. We source them exclusively from real cows, and we take extra precautions by only buying from facilities that are up to USDA standards. We do this to ensure we're only offering your dog the best hooves around!

Our natural cow hoof is durable in more ways than one. In addition to being able to withstand hours of chewing (depending on your dog's strength), they have an extra-long shelf life of 36 months. And at such a low price point, you can easily stock up to ensure your pup is never without his favorite hoof bite. Make sure to take advantage of our affordable bulk cow hoof pricing. You won't find a better deal on the web.

Since beef hooves are hollow, feel free to fill them with whatever you think your dog will enjoy. We've filled cow hooves with peanut butter and our pups absolutely loved it. Get creative and let us know what you come up withwe'd love to hear about how much your dog enjoys our cow hooves or other tasty products!

Product FAQs

Does it break into pieces?

While pieces breaking off is uncommon, it is possible, especially with pups who have an aggressive chomp style. For that reason, we recommend supervision when giving this chew to your dog, especially for the first time or if you’re unsure of what kind of chewer they may be.

If you find your pup to be a strong chewer, we recommend looking towards our Bully Sticks instead. They come in a variety of lengths and widths to accommodate even the strongest of chewers!

Are all the same size?

We do our very best to keep our cow hooves as consistent as possible, but since these are an all-natural animal product, there will be variation from batch to batch, and even from hoof to hoof

Does it have an odor?

Although we try our best to produce a low odor product, because we don’t treat our products with chemical treatments, it is nearly impossible to have a product with no odor. As they are all natural animal products, the odor will vary from animal to animal and batch to batch.

Why does it have different colors?

Variations in the color of the cow hooves are completely normal and safe. As these are an all-natural animal product, colors may differ among our products depending on the color of the animal. We do not add any artificial ingredient to uniformly color the chews.

Is it digestible?

Hooves are not digestible. In case your dog swallows a small fragment, it will just pass through the digestive tract until it gets discharged. If your dog loves to chew, then our cow hoof is the best hard chew toy for your pet.

What are cow hooves made of?

These are toenails of cows. Keratin is the main protein that makes up these chew toys.

Is it safe for pet dogs?

If you’re one of the dog owners who think that these products are not safe chew toys, dogs might disagree with you.

Feeding Guide: Feed as a Treat.

Warning: the product you're about to give your dog is positively delicious! While our natural treats are (in our expert opinion) super tasty, there are a few safety tips we ask all of our owners to observe:

  • First, human consumption is not recommended (duh!).
  • Second, we always recommend supervision while feeding your pet any treat or chew.
  • Third, remove any large, swallowable pieces to prevent blockages.
  • Fourth, provide plenty of drinking water to help with digestion. Natural hooves may splinter or break causing injury. Supervise use and feed in limited quantity if your pet is not used to this chew. If hoof should splinter or break remove immediately. Discard any pieces that could be swallowed by your pet, as pieces can cause choking, gastric upset, or blockage. Remove the hoof if your pet is trying to break it since chewing a hard chew this way could damage a pet’s teeth. Recommended chew size is slightly larger than your pet’s mouth. Wash hands with soap and warm water after handling. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
