Do you have experience selling on Amazon for a previous employer or as a seller yourself? If so, read on!
Pawstruck, a fast-growing pet products e-commerce company, is looking for a Marketplace Assistant (Amazon Specialist)! Culture fit is really important to us, so we’ve outlined exactly who we are, who we need, and how to apply. If you think you’re a good fit, please follow the application instructions at the end.
Who We Are:
Pawstruck provides natural and single-ingredient dog products—things like bully sticks, cow hooves, and pig ears—to pets across the United States. We’re a multi-channel business and sell products on our own website along with marketplaces like Amazon, Chewy, Target.com, Groupon, and more. Wherever pet parents shop online, we want to be there!
Aside from our team members at our production & fulfillment facility in Kansas, USA, we’re a remotely distributed team. We’re in our 8th year of business and have a team of about 25 full-time employees. We’re growing rapidly and need your help.
Some cool things about us:
- Ranked #7 on Los Angeles Business Journal’s List of Fastest-Growing Companies
- Named one of Inc.’s 500 Fastest-Growing Companies two years in a row
- Fastest Growing Retail Company (#6 and #7)
- Fastest Growing California Company (#19 and #45)
- We have a company Slack channel devoted to cute dog photos from our customers.
Some cool Amazon-related things about us:
- We’ve got over 30,000 reviews from Amazon buyers on our products.
- Our products have been spotlighted by celebrities like Kristen Bell, Billy Porter, and Mariah Carey.
- Our CEO was interviewed on Amazon Live during Prime Day which was shown on the Amazon home page for all visitors to see.
Who We Need:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized, and digital-obsessed Amazon specialist to keep that channel running smoothly.
We consider everyone on our team an entrepreneur, so having a growth mindset is non-negotiable.
The people who most succeed at Pawstruck are those who listen thoughtfully, think creatively, and aren’t afraid to speak up when they have a question or a new idea.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable both collaborating on solutions and collectively brainstorming new ideas, as well as spending a lot of time working independently.
Responsibilities and necessary skills:
This role is responsible for maintaining Pawstruck’s Brand Health on Amazon. Your number one priority is to monitor, address, and improve overall Account Health metrics. Whether that be writing a Plan of Action to get an ASIN reinstated or digging into our late shipment rate, you’ll keep our Amazon account in tip-top shape.
Comfort and skill with spreadsheets (excel/google sheets) is essential for this role. You will be crunching data and updating products using Amazon’s inventory file upload sheets.
Impeccable communication and digital organization are critical.
Some work on other marketplace platforms such as Chewy or Target+ may be required, but Amazon will be your primary focus. That said, if you’re interested in learning more about other sales channels there will definitely be opportunities.
This position reports to the Senior Product Manager and will work closely with our CEO and other members of the product team.
Here’s a peek at our tech stack (in no particular order):
- Amazon (SellerCentral)
- Seller Bench
- Elite Seller
- Google Drive / G Suite
Location: This is a remote role.
- Paid holidays
- A stipend for health care costs
- Unlimited unpaid time off.
