Q. Are deer antlers safe for dogs?
A. Not only are these safe for your pups, they're actually the perfect choice for aggressive chewers, puppies, and large dogs. North American deer antler or elk dog antlers are large and rarely chip, split, or splinter, so they can survive a lot of chewing without harming your dog. Plus, they are packed with nutrients!

Q.Which antlers are best for dogs?
A. For an all-around antler, we love elk antlers. The whole antler is good for most chewers that aren't heavy-duty, though heavy-duty chewers will love the base of the antler and gentler chewers will like the upper portion.

Q. Is it good for dogs to chew antlers?
A. It is actually great for dogs! Antler chews are packed with nutrients like calcium, so you don't have to feel guilty about letting your dog gnaw down. Plus, it's a way to keep them entertained and out of trouble (and it cleans their teeth in the process!) As with any toy, make sure to keep an eye on your dog to make sure they're chewing off manageable parts.

Q. What are your antler dog chews made of?
A. Each antler dog chew is naturally sourced from real Canadian elk. We only harvest antlers for dogs that have been naturally shed by the animals, so you can rest assured that your purchase is ethically sound. We offer a variety of antler options to appeal to your pup's unique needs:

Solid antler chews: Pretty much what you'd expect when you picture an antler. Our antlers for dogs are cut to an appropriate size for chewing.

Split antlers: These have been sliced down the middle to expose their marrow for extra nutrition.

Coated antlers: We take our great tasting antler chew and add an extra layer of deliciousness! Our bully coated chew treats feature the same yummy beef as our famous bully sticks for an extra special snack.

Filled antlers: Stuffed will delicious fillings, these are not only extra delicious but they offer your pet an extra challenge--just like chew toys!

Q. How long do these dog chews last?
A. Because they're so durable, our antler chews are some of the toughest ones we sell. However, the lifespan of our antler for dogs will depend on how aggressive your pet is with her chewing. Our antlers for dogs have super long shelf lives of 24 to 36 months, making it easy to stock up and save.
