Perfect Products for Small Dogs

In addition to considering the size of the treat or chew you're giving your dog - you must also take into consideration their chewing style. Learn more about chew styles and guidelines with our Guide to Knowing Your Dog's Chew Style

General guidelines for giving your dog chews and treats:

  • Supervise your dog when feeding them treats or chews, especially the first time you give them something new.

  • Chews should be bigger than your dog's snout

  • Hard chews should be slightly wider than your dog's mouth.

  • Remove any large swallowable pieces of hard chews to prevent blockages in the digestive system.

  • Provide plenty of drinking water to help with digestion.

Here are some of our favorite small-dog-friendly chews and treats.

LIFESAVER for a teething puppy!

The only thing we have to worry about is keeping our puppy from hoarding all the chews and making him share... I have to play referee to make sure he plays nice with his fur brother!

The only chew he'll finish

We've been giving Katsu Pawstruck chews since he was a puppy, and these are the only ones he will even come close to finishing! We love them because they're natural, healthy, and low odor.
