Transition With Care

Some dogs can handle an abrupt change to their diet without an issue; however others - especially those with sensitive stomachs - may not respond well. Your dog's tummy is likely not as adaptable as yours is! To avoid issues such as upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, or refusal to eat, you'll want to introduce new food slowly.

A gradual replacement of your dog's current food to Pawstruck Air Dried Food will help their stomach slowly adjust to their new diet. We recommend a one-week transition, which will help your dog avoid tummy problems.

Days 1-2

Mix 25% Pawstruck Air Dried Food in with your dog's current food.

Days 3-4

Gradually increase to ½ Pawstruck food and ½ current food.

Days 5-6

Gradually increase to ¾ Pawstruck food and ¼ current food.

Days 7+
